I am working with the Horsebridge Art Centre to create a large participatory public artwork in response to the question ‘What does the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee mean to you?’ We are asking for people to submit responses as sculptural forms, specifically fake flowers or floral inspired sculptures that we will combine into massive bouquets that will be displayed on the outside of the Art Centre across the Jubilee weekend 2nd to the 6th of June 2022.
'Go Slow' @ The Horsebridge Arts Centre In Whitstable, England 'GO SLOW' @ THE HORSEBRIDGE ARTS CENTRE IN WHITSTABLE, UK
I am excited to announce that I will be working with The Horsebridge Arts Centre and the Whitstable Improvement Trust to develop and deliver a new public art project. ‘Go Slow’ is being specially designed to encourage cars to slow down on Sea Street (opposite the Horsebridge) by creating a new site specific artwork that will also enhance the local area. The work will be developed via series of workshops with local children aged 5 to 11 years. Stay tuned for updates as the project develops!
The Printed Stage @ The Horsebridge Young Makers Club
It was great to make some ‘framed’ artworks with the Young Makers Club at the Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable, England this week.
We all chose a few of our favourite things to draw, then constructed our 3D The Printed Stage paper craft frames. Everyone took home their new ‘framed artworks’ to put on their mantelpieces at home!
This Printable Frame Activity Sheet is available on The Printed Stage Etsy store. And please visit the Horsebridge Arts Centre website for more information about the Young Makers Club and other fun things happening in Whitstable.

Launching The Printed Stage
Camille Serisier has created The Printed Stage based on years of experience as a scenic painter, visual artist and educator running educational workshops and designing scenery for stage productions and major events. After sharing thousands of printable resources with museums, schools and families, during lockdown Camille decided to make her designs more broadly accessible. Her hand drawn scenery, props and costume designs are now available as digital files, which can be downloaded and printed at home or on larger format machines at your local copy centre. Camille selected downloadable digital files as her medium for The Printed Stage because they provide an affordable way for people to engage with her designs from anywhere in the world.
