My works occupies the intersection of creative practice and research. Years of designing and delivering community based participatory projects has prepared me for working alongside academics on participatory research projects, particularly those incorporating creative methods. My writing and research experience, developed as a collections curator in the GLAM sector has helped me hone the communications skills required to contribute to research design, delivery, and sharing.

Doctoral Candidate, UCA
Doctoral Research at the University of the Creative Arts (UK) with the assistance of a Fast Forward Women in Photography studentship.
The Silent Crisis: Stem Cell Donation
A transdisciplinary research project with Dr Jill Shepherd, Professor Joy Zhang and Dr Rebecca Cassidy using creative methods to address the ‘silent crisis’ in stem cell donation within black communities in the UK.

I am proud to be an Affiliated Researcher at the University of Kent in the Centre for Global Science and Epistemic Research.
Visiting Fellow, Smithsonian American Art Museum
I visited Washington D.C. to research open collection strategies being utilised at the Smithsonian.
Rewilding Canterbury
Working with school children in the UK to explore social and environmental relationships via a series of workshops and creative outcomes utilising creative methods with Dr Yoriko Otomo and Naomi Harland-Smith.
